2. Wish you were here in London!
Hello friend! I am in England for the 2012
London Olympics! In the first picture I am
hanging out near the stadium waiting for
the events to begin! Below that photo is the
London Olympics icon! The Summer
Olympics only happen once every four
years! I really want to see all of the athletes
compete and hopefully the United States
will earn many gold medals! I will write you
back after the games to let you know how it
went. The only time I have seen the
Olympics before was on T.V. and it was
amazing! I can only imagine how
spectacular the event will be when I am in
the stadium! It will be a heck of a
competition and I will cheer my hardest for
America!

In Istanbul, Turkey there
are many sights to see!
Such places consist of the

Constantinople was the
center of trade for several
countries and was very
advanced. You can also see
the sprawling Hippodrome
which hosted chariot races
and looks like a coliseum!

7. Here in Gallipoli, Turkey you can be greatly educated and yet
captivated by this historical site. During World War One, Britain
launched a major campaign to try to capture the Gallipoli
Peninsula from the Turks. Gallipoli was a heavily guarded area and
the British failed. Today, you can still see some of these forts at
Gallipoli! There are also many monuments dedicated to the fallen
soldiers people who lived there. On your next trip, consider
coming to Gallipoli. You won’t regret it!

I am currently in Chichen
Itza, Mexico! Here, there are an
ample amount of sites to visit. One of
the best is the Mayan pyramids where
the Mayan people worshipped their
gods! You can also check out the Sun
Stone which served as the Mayan
calendar and was based off of
astronomy. I learned about the
Mayan people in sixth grade and I
found the unit very interesting. I
would love to see the information
first hand! Come to Chichen Itza for http://www.flickr.com/photos/rosemania/4419055059/
9. Wish you were here in Puerto Vallarta!
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico is a great place to relax! This paradise is encased by the Sierra
Madre mountains and by the shining waves of Banderas Bay. In Puerto Vallarta you can
windsurf, sail, surf, take tours, enjoy concerts, and even bungee jump! Since this location
has both mountains and beaches, there is a broad variety of events. Puerto Vallarta has
a friendly environment, boasts spectacular ocean views, and contains a very large
shopping area that anyone would marvel at. I want to go here for a luxurious and work-
free vacation and to gaze at the scenes. Come for a relaxing and exciting time! http://bit.ly/LfFt02
10. Welcome to the
White House I am here at the White House in Washington D.C.
in Virginia. The White House is where the
president of the United States lives and works.
Many times did famous people come to the
White House to negotiate, such as Winston
Churchill when trying to persuade President
Franklin D. Roosevelt to be allies in WWII. The
White House not only was a house, but where
people chose decisions that would be America’s
fate. Many times war choices were made in the
house. Here, you can take a tour of the national
icon and learn all about the house. The White
House is surrounded by beautiful vegetation and
an amazing city. Inside of the house, it is
extremely luxurious and contains many rooms
such as a bowling alley! Learn all about
America’s history and presidents while on this
tour! Be sure to come over to the White House
soon!
