This integrated media series is about my dislike of celebrities and supermodel’s fascination of the ultra-slim image. Every action and saying that these national icons provoke is paid close attention to – by the media and the general public.

More and more females nowadays are trying the popular weight-loss diets being broadcast on TV, the radio, internet ads , and billboards or they may have simply heard it from the word of mouth . Many of these highly promoted diets are ineffective and would create many unexpected and undesirable side-effects as people become addicted to losing weight. Not only are female celebrities obstructing us with their perfect slender bodies , male celebrities do the same to us as well. They are oriented in another type of body image - the buff and muscular image . As females will undertake ridiculous diets and take expensive diet pills, many males will go on steroids or spend hours and hours of their day in the gym trying to obtain the ‘perfect’ image... reaching the unreachable Reaching the unreachable...
