  18. Download the Instagram app from the App Store on an IOS Device Open the app and tap “Regster” button to create your account You should try to secure the same username as your Twitter handle This will streamline mentions and help you keep track of the social conversations you’re included in 3. Update your profile information to include your name, profile pic, bio and a link to your website. The more descriptive your bio, name and handle are the easier you’ll be found by others. 4. Link your account to active profiles on Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Flickr and Foursquare.
  19. It’s best to have a few photos in your profile before starting to find followers. Take a handful of interesting photos that convey your interests and personality. Don’t Follow All - limit new follows to about 10-20
  20. Navigate to the Share Settings tab under Settings from your Profile. If you have the Social Apps to these platforms installed on your phone, Instagram will call your accounts that are enabled and syncing will be a once step process. If you do not have the Apps, you’ll be redirected to sign into your accounts in a browser and give permission once you’re logged into each social account. Once your share settings are in place you can post to these accounts as you upload your photo to Instagram.
