Nazi Germany at
Compiègne
January 30, Hitler
proclaims his
hate for Jews in
his speech.
September 3,
Great Britain,
France, Australia,
and New Zealand
declare war
against Germany.
September 1,
Germany
invades Poland.

because start of
WWII.)
1941
December 7,
Japan bombs
Pearl Harbor.
The armistice said
that Germany
controlled almost
all of France.
June 10, Italy
declares war with
France and Britain,
and invades
southern France.
SURRENDER!

Churchill met in

plan on how to
save Paris.
