2. A 2011 Yale Information Session will be held at 7:00 p.m. October 6th at Luther Burbank High School 1002 Edwards Street San Antonio, TX 78204. This session will be held in the auditorium. Bianca Rolon, Assistant Director of Admissions, will discuss academic programs, residential college, and campus life, admissions, and financial aid. Please bring your family and friends. 17. Wrestling Clinic October 1st!!! Wrestle SC is hosting a one day wrestling clinic Saturday, October 1st at the Dolford Gym. For information and registration, pick up a flyer in the front office. No experience necessary. Open for both boys and girls in Grades 5-12.

21. Samuel Clemens Homecoming Dance Please come to main office to pick up a Guest permission form. Guidelines: A current Samuel Clemens High School student may be permitted to bring 1 guest. The appropriate boxes below must be completed and this form must be returned when purchasing a dance ticket. All guests must present an ID at the door. – No Exceptions No middle school students will be permitted to attend. All guests may not be older than 19 years of age. Dress code will be enforced – No Exceptions

FIRST AMENDMENT ESSAY CONTEST Offered by- The San Antonio Chapter of Americans United for the Separation of Church and State Essay contest on the topic “What the First Amendment Means to me” Essays should be no longer than 500 words.
