2. What is it?
Part of Microsoft’s current employment initiative, Britain Works, the Microsoft
Partner Apprenticeship has been developed for and designed by Microsoft
Partners. These are the 32,000 UK IT suppliers, developers, resellers and
solutions provider that make up the Microsoft Partner Network.
The programme is the first of its kind (and the only currently in operation) that
marshals a global ICT vendor’s supplier channel to drive uptake and ensure
industry relevance of apprenticeships
It is a joint initiative between Microsoft, e-skills UK and National Apprenticeship
Service with The IT Skills Management Company (ITSM) providing promotional
support for the national roll out of the Programmes through a Group Training
Association (GTA) model.
