2. As you can see we have chosen to have our bullies dresses in sports gear,
with a blue top and blue shorts this is because sports wear portrays a sense of
strength and power, Athletes are portrayed as strong and being inferior to non
athletes. Non athletes are categorised as weak and vulnerable.

3. Our second bully is also seen to be wearing black shorts and blue top.
These colours illustrate a sense of a personality being bold “what you see is what you
get”. Nike is reflected as a popular brand, and an association can be inferred. The
bully has a strong status which others can see similar to Nike being renown.

4. We have chosen to have Sam (Amy Dunn) dressed in formal gear as this conveys a smart,
neat and tidy image in comparison to the bullies who are dressed in outdoor sports gear. The
significance of having Sam dressed like this enables the audience to see why she may not the
traditional image of a young teen as she can be seen as an outcast. We have also selected
for Sam to wear glasses as we were conforming to the stereotypical conventions of a teenage
nerd or geek
