4. There are 2 big systems
which mostly define
our physical & mental force:
• muscle system
• nerve system
* The „Did you know” parts of the presentation is based on literature below:
http://www.bodyteen.com/fafa.html
11. What is the role of our nerves?
• convey information
about the human &
the environment of
the human
• process the
external & interior
stimulus
• direct the other
parts of the
organism
12. Did you know?
A nerve can send up
to 1000 impulses
per second!
17. Did you know about Magnesium that...?
történet
• It is the 8th most abundant element on the Earth and
the 4th most abundant in human organism.
• The name originates from the Greek word for a district in
Thessaly called Magnesia.
• Magnesium was first noticed in 1618 by an English
farmer, who attempted to give his cows water from a
well, but they refused to drink it because of the water's
bitter taste.
18. Where do we use Magnesium?
It is the 3rd most commonly used structural metal!
• used in automotive and truck components,
• used for manufacturing of electronic components,
• was used for German military aircraft in World War I and II.
19. For what does our organism use Magnesium?
• The human body contains 25-30 grams of magnesium
– 60% of which is built in the bone system
– 30% is part of the muscular system
• It participates in a high number of processes:
– in the energy-producing processes,
– in the cell division processes,
– in the protein synthesis.
• It may contribute to maintaining:
– the balanced operation of the nervous system,
– the healthy structure of the bones and teeth,
– the normal muscular activity,
– the normal blood pressure,
– the normal functioning of the heart.
20. From what kind of natural sources
can we get Magnesium?
• From almonds,
nuts, blackstrap
molasses, wheat
bran and wheat
germ.
22. Did you know about Vitamin B6 that...?
történet
Vitamin B6 was discovered
in the 1930s by a Hungarian physician,
Paul Gyorgy during nutrition studies on rats.
23. For what does our organism use Vitamin B6?
• Vitamin B6 helps magnesium to get into cells and
has an important role in utilising and decomposing
various parts of the nutriment.
• Vitamin B6 has a central role in:
– metabolic processes,
– blood formation,
– cell division.
• It may contribute to the balanced operation of:
– the nervous system,
– the immune system,
– the heart.
24. From what kind of natural sources
can we get Vitamin B6?
• Excellent sources are
chicken and the liver of
beef, pork and veal.
• Good sources are fish
(salmon, tuna, sardines,
halibut, herring), nuts
(walnuts, peanuts), bread,
corn and whole grain
cereals.
• Other sources are lentils,
courgettes and bananas.
26. Did you know about Zinc that...?
történet
The name of the metal was
first documented in the 16th century
by a Swiss-born German alchemist,
who referred to the metal as "zinken"
which meant "tooth-like, pointed or jagged”.
27. Where do we use Zinc?
It is the 4th most common metal in use!
• used as an anti-corrosion agent,
• used as an anode (negative terminus)
material for batteries,
• used in communication equipment,
hardware, musical instruments, and
water valves.
28. For what does our organism use Zinc?
• Zinc, which is an important ingredient of
hundreds of enzymes, is involved in the
activation of vitamin B6 .
• It may contribute to:
– the preserve of health of the skin, hair and nail,
– the maintaining of the healthy structure of the bones,
– the normal functioning of the nerve system,
– the healthy functioning of the immune system due to
its antioxidant effect.
29. From what kind of natural sources
can we get Zinc?
• From shellfish
(especially oysters),
fish, red meat, poultry,
beans, peas, whole
grains, nuts, seeds,
eggs.
30. What is the NEW FEATURE
which makes you...
LESS STRESSFUL
&
MORE POWERFUL ?
31. MagneZi B6
LESS STRESS, MORE POWER
We put together the well-known trio
-Magnesium, Vitamin B6, Zinc-
in an easily utilizable form to support
• the normal functioning
of the nerve- and muscle system,
• and the different
• metabolic-and energy producer processes
of your body!
