John Logie Baird created the first working television set in 1925.
The first person to appear on television was a young office boy in
the same building where Baird worked. He was paid around 60 cents
for his appearance.
The first televised tennis match was broadcast on July 12, 1928.
The first play entitled “The Queen’s Messenger” was broadcast on
September 11, 1928.

One example is Netflix which has an App available for the
iPhone.
8. FUTURE ISSUES
Phone services are planning to wire all U.S. households for
advanced multimedia services, which may be a huge problem for
cable services.
When phone services complete this, they will be capable of
delivering a much higher level of advanced services to homes.
