After we had created our Advertising
Company ‘Legacy International’ We
individually came up with ideas and
designs for a new gum company. We
each proposed our designs to the
group and explained why our design
should be used for the final product.

After a group discussion about our different ideas
we finally decided to use my logo as it suited the
style of a company more than the other logos
members of the team created.
After Brody came up with the product name ‘Blanc’ I
started to design a visual product and made a
design for what our gum would look like.
This is one of the first initial designs I made. Overall
I am happy with my design and I feel like it is a
good looking product for our company and I can see
it selling if it were to be released into the market.
The whole point of our product is to release a gum onto the market for a more sophisticated
target audience. We have designed Blanc so that it will appeal to more of a higher class
target audience than other gum companies such as Wrigleys. Blanc is the type of gum that
would be sold at prestigious VIP events
such as the Oscars or VIP night clubs.
I designed this logo using Adobe Illustrator, I took inspiration
from different designs I did research on and I felt that my logo
was the best in the group.
Our group had proposed that we give our product a ‘sleek’ and
simplistic look to it, this so it stands out above over competitors
on the market and gives the product a more stylish and
prestigious look.

Print advert that I designed using Photoshop.
I designed my advert to be more simplistic and
sleek; this is because it suits the target
audience and the theme of the product.
I am extremely happy with my design as I
think that it promotes our product in a positive
way. It shows the audience how sophisticated,
high class and smart our product is.
This advert would be advertised in upper class
magazines such as ‘GQ’ or ‘Film’.
I think that a weakness in my print advert is
possibly the clash of wood on wood, where I
have placed the visual product onto the
wooden background; it could possibly be hard
for someone to see the product or notice it.
In all of our adverts it is necessary to apply our
logo in it, this is because as we branch out
and get bigger and better know we want our
audience to be able to recognise our logo
anywhere and whenever anyone sees our
logo the will know straight away that it is
BLANC.
