16. Reflection of Experience Overall I enjoyed my time working with the students in the EBD classroom. I still want to visit the classroom filling out the rest of the year. The reason for this is because I did miss one week due to FCAT. The teacher actually called and told me how much they missed me that week. I believe the students had a great time working together and watching themselves on the video. It was such a good feeling as a future teacher to see the happiness expressed by these students. I am still currently working on putting the video together for the students onto CDs. I would like to give these to them as a gift in the near future. Not only was this a great experience for the EBD students it can be a great lesson for any student in a classroom. Many people doubt any individual, no matter the age, if they have some form of physical or academic disability, but these students or people can be just as capable as others when it comes to special projects.
