1. Costume
It is important that I consider each character’s costume
carefully while thinking about what I want the viewers
impressions of the character to be.

2. Robert’s costume
I have taken inspiration from the film The Strangers
since the characters in the film wear masks and
therefore do no give away their identity. In my film,
although Robert won’t be wearing a mask I do not
want to give away too much about him and it is
important that he remains a mysterious character.
Like the character seen in the picture, I would like Robert
to be wearing dark coloured clothes preferably black.
This will immediately suggest to the viewer that he has a
dark side to him.

3. Robert’s costume
I have decided that a long black coat would be
suitable for Robert’s character as it is mysterious
and especially in dark lighting this coat will make
him look mysterious and somewhat criminal.

4. Eppi’s costume
Since Eppi is being put to bed at the
beginning of the film she must be wearing
pyjamas. I have decided on pink pyjamas as
these will highlight her young age and add to
her innocence which will help the audience
sympathise with her.

5. Georgie’s costume
Georgie’s costume needs the least
consideration. It is only necessary that she
wear comfortable clothing that one would
wear at home.
