Welcome back! Today we will be continue to learn advanced PowerPoint.
At the beginning, let’s review the last section. We talked about how to make PowerPoint a better teaching tool for example: interactive quiz, visual museum and game. Then we learned basic concept about animation like what is animation, key frame. Also, we have learned three techniques in PowerPoint 2007. Today, we are going to learn the second section.
Now ,there is a mini quiz to help us recall three techiques.
Click “custom animation” under animation. Click on “add effect” in the custom animation widow on the right. You will see the motion path.
According to the description, which technique?
Do you familiar with this process? Which technique?
last section, you have practiced for each techniques, now I have some feedback. Some are not very clearly understand what is start. So do you remember which technique we need to set it as after previous?
Motion path is kind of stiff when you move an object around because the object does not rotate with the path. With Flash Once, you can move the object over a desired path and have it rotate to follow a more natural movement.
When we create the animation, besides we know the each feature, we also need to consider….Now let’s see the example.
This is the animation used flipbook to explain the process of the water cycle.
we need to write notes during teaching, especially in a discussing environment. For example, you might want to collect information and feedback or questions from the learners. PowerPoint can do this.
Using the pointer pen, you can draw lines on the screen during a slide show. You can use it to underline the word you want to emphasize or point out. As soon as you go to the next slide, the marking will disappear.
Sometimes, you need redirect learnersattention awayfrom the screen and towards yourself. How to do? Wearing this T-shirt? Haha. You can temporarily black out the screen. It is very easy. Just press B key.To get your slide back. Press B key again.
Now , we have two groups. The right-side is one group, the left-side is another. You have 10 minutes to share more tips and tricks from each other.
