Who Am I

• White Tailed Deer ;the White
  Tailed Deer is tan or brown in
  the summer and grayish
  brown in the winter it has
  white on its throat ; around its
  eyes ; and nose ; the White
  Tail Deer also weighs
  between 150pounds and
  300pounds and females
  weigh between 90poundsand
  200pounds.
The Early Years
• The doe’s will leave
  their fawns alone
  hidden and will
  leave it for hours
  alone
• female fawns may
  stay with their
  mothers up to 2
  years
Habitat Sweet Habitat
• The White Tail Deer
  live in wooded
  areas. The wooded
  areas are made with
  trees and grass.
What’s on the menu
• White Tail Deer are
  a plant eater.it
  follows well-use
  trails to its feeding
  areas.
Making Tracks
• White Tail Deer are
  very good runners .
  They can up to 30 miles
  an hour. They are also
  good swimmers. There
  tracks look like harts.
  You can find these
  animal tracks in the dirt
  or,sand or snow.
Simply Irresistable
• In some areas,deer
  over population is a
  problem. Young and
  old deer often get
  sick in the winter
  and die.
Where in the World
• The White Tail Deer
  can be found in
  Southern Canada
  and most of the
  United States.
• Did you know when      • Deer need to cross
  a doe has no fawns       the road to get to
  she is usually           food and water.
