  squash

grapes

  make	
  some	
  grape	
  juice

        friends

  help	
  drink

  • 1. The  Li'le  Red  Hen   By  Spencer  Vega  
  • 2.          One  day  a  li*le  red  hen  named  Puffy   found  a  grapevine  and  she  asked  her   friends  to  help  water  it,                                “No  way  !”  swore  Lantern  the   axolotl  .  “Bug  off  !”  chuckled  Mr.  Duck  .                                “Go  away!”  said  Mrs.   Poppins  ,the  pig  .                                      “ Then  I  will!”  said  Puffy  as  she   waddled  away  angrily  .  She  watered  the   grapevine  and  then  she  needed  to  build    
  • 3. A  nice  garden  for  the  grapevine  so  it   could  grow  .  ”Who  will  help  me?”  the   hen  asked                                    “Not  I  !”said  Lantern.                                      “Get  away!”  exclaimed  Mr.   Duck                                      “I  don’t  want  to  see  you   again.”  yelled  Mrs.  Poppins.                                      “All  right  ,I’ll  do  it  myself!”  and   she  grabbed  some  wood  and  tools  and   was  on  her  way  .  She  was  singing  the   whole  Ome  and  Mr.  Duck  was  very   annoyed  .  Then  she  needed  squash  the   grapes  to  make  some  grape  juice  ,”  Who   will  help?”  
  • 4.                                “Not  I!”  exclaimed  Lantern                                    “Never!”  quacked  Mr.  Duck                                  “Go  bother  someone  else,”   squealed  Mrs.  Poppins            “I’ll  squash  them  alone,  I  guess.”   Puffy  sighed  and  then  tro*ed  off.   When  she  was  finally  done   squashing  the  grapes  she  asked  her   friends  who  would  help  drink  the   juice.                        “Oh,  me  ,  choose  me!”  begged   Lantern                    “Oh,  I  would  love  to  help!”   declared  Mr.  Duck.  
  • 5. “Oh,  sounds  delighSul!”  yelled                                         Mrs.  Poppins  .   Puffy  thought  for  a  second  about                                                   how  none  of  them  helped,  but  she   knew  the  right  thing  would  be  to  share,   so  she  did.  ”All  right,  you  can  all  have   some,  but  next  Ome,  help  me  with   everything,                                                    “Okay!”  the  animals   exclaimed  and  they  all  enjoyed  the   refreshing  grape  juice.                                                            The  End
