• Before developing, identify the 4W: WHAT, WHO, WHEN
    and WHY.
•   Clear out the goal. Either you want to approach a new niche
    market or you want to attract younger community members,
    be specific so that your messages are targeted.
•   Be in consistence with the value proposition that your
    Organization / Group offers.
•   Carefully check the content before submitting. Always think
    the instant word of mouth.
•   Build a community instead of audience and trusted
    relationships instead of campaigns only.
10 Social Media Do`s
• Offer valuable (and even exclusive) content for the
  targeted audience.
• Listen to your audience and respond immediately
  and wisely. Receive activities’ feedback and
  integrate into your campaign strategy.
• Keep a coherence image and attitude in different
  channels.
• Measure your achievements. Define goals and Key
  performance indicators. Make sure you measure and
  review your strategy based on the results.
• Be different and unique.
10 Social Media Don'ts
• Don`t build it independently of your offline strategy.
• Don`t advertise, engage your community.
• Don`t shout, listen to conversations.
• Don`t execute, interact with the people.
• Don`t focus on activities’ perception, but on the feelings
    when youth attend your activities.
•   Don`t create a circle of fans but a circle of trust.
•   Don`t dictate, be democratic and community-oriented.
•   Don`t only ask, reward with gifts and information.
•   Don`t lie, be always authentic and faithful.
•   Don`t create promotion value but added value.

  • 3. 10 Social Media Do`s • Before developing, identify the 4W: WHAT, WHO, WHEN and WHY. • Clear out the goal. Either you want to approach a new niche market or you want to attract younger community members, be specific so that your messages are targeted. • Be in consistence with the value proposition that your Organization / Group offers. • Carefully check the content before submitting. Always think the instant word of mouth. • Build a community instead of audience and trusted relationships instead of campaigns only.
  • 4. 10 Social Media Do`s • Offer valuable (and even exclusive) content for the targeted audience. • Listen to your audience and respond immediately and wisely. Receive activities’ feedback and integrate into your campaign strategy. • Keep a coherence image and attitude in different channels. • Measure your achievements. Define goals and Key performance indicators. Make sure you measure and review your strategy based on the results. • Be different and unique.
  • 5. 10 Social Media Don'ts • Don`t build it independently of your offline strategy. • Don`t advertise, engage your community. • Don`t shout, listen to conversations. • Don`t execute, interact with the people. • Don`t focus on activities’ perception, but on the feelings when youth attend your activities. • Don`t create a circle of fans but a circle of trust. • Don`t dictate, be democratic and community-oriented. • Don`t only ask, reward with gifts and information. • Don`t lie, be always authentic and faithful. • Don`t create promotion value but added value.
  • 7. Tips for designing and running Social Media Campaigns 1. Set up goals of your campaign 2. Have a related to your activity non-expensive award 3. Use a simple, easy to use participation tool 4. Use all Social Media functionalities and tools 5. Promote the contest both in online and offline channels 6. The post-contest effect is invaluable, Use it!

Putting all together • Create Facebook Account for your initiative and update the profile. • Create Facebook Fan Page and update the setting. • Create a Facebook Groups for group discussions. • Using Movie Maker, Create 1-2 minutes video. • Upload the video on YouTube. • Using Blogger, Create a blog for your inititive. • Post three posts with videos and photos. • Linking the networks with each other.
