Documents are supposed to be useful tools. They describe requirements. As such,
they are indispensable to an organization’s QMS (quality management system).
Unfortunately, the challenge of managing documentation has evolved into a
burdensome task where maintaining control supersedes actual utilization. This
course is designed to assist individuals in identifying documents and appropriately
defining the requirements that will make them a positive feature of the organization.

This course is intended for anyone who is responsible for generating
documents, auditing, managing/coordinating documentation, writing QMS
procedures or managing various aspects of the organization’s QMS, including:
quality managers, ISO 9000 coordinators, Internal auditors, production
supervisors, quality technicians, and customer service managers.
Summary This course provides a clear and concise approach to implementing document
control within an organization. Training will include exercises and examples to
help participants increase efficiency for cost savings and process
improvement. The overall training objective will be to learn how to make
documents the valuable and meaningful enterprise-wide tools they are meant
to be.

Instructor Profile
Denise E. Robitaille
Denise Robitaille is the author of numerous books on various quality
topics. She is an internationally recognized speaker who brings years
of experience in business and industry to her work in the quality
profession. In November of 2005, she was recognized in Quality
Digest as one of the “Drivers of Quality.” Denise is a member of U.S. TAG to ISO/TC
176, the committee responsible for updating the ISO 9000 family of standards. She is
also a RABQSA certified lead assessor, an ASQ Certified Quality Auditor, and a senior
member of ASQ.
As the principal of Robitaille Associates she has helped numerous companies in diverse
fields to achieve ISO 9001 registration and to improve their quality management
systems. She has conducted training courses for thousands of individuals on such
topics as corrective action, management review, auditing, document control and
implementing ISO 9001.
Denise’s books include: The Corrective Action Handbook, The Management Review
Handbook, The Preventive Action Handbook, Root Cause Analysis: Basic Tools and
Techniques, Document Control and Managing Supplier-Related Processes. She is a
regular columnist for The Auditor newsletter and is the author of numerous articles.

REGISTRATION AND PAYMENT TERMS & INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Please ensure registration forms are properly filled out and more importantly authorization/approval for
registration indicated on the form before forwarding to Lorson.
2. All costs quoted are in US$.
3. Where applicable, the TT$-US$ rate of exchange shall be calculated at the prevailing bank rate.
4. Payments must be made IIN ADVANCE.
5. Late payments -- 15 days and more from the date of invoice) shall incur a 15% late fee charge.
6. Companies based in Trinidad & Tobago can issue cheques payable to LLORSON RESOURCES LIMITED. All
other companies please complete an International Wire Transfer. The details will be included on your invoice
from Lorson Resources Limited.
7. A 5% discount shall apply for groups of five (5) participants or more from one organisation.
8. The price of the course also covers morning and afternoon snack breaks, lunch, manuals/course materials
and certificate.
9. PPAYMENT AND REGISTRATION SUBSTITUTION POLICY
Substitute participants are permitted for individuals from the same company or organization. Substitution
requests must be received in writing, and validated by a supervisor, no later than 5 (five) business days
before the first day of the registered program.
10. CCANCELLATION POLICY
Lorson Resources Limited reserves the right to cancel courses, programs, workshops or seminars at any
time for any reason. The decision to cancel is at the sole discretion of LLorson Resources Limited. In the
event LLorson Resources Limited cancels a program, trainees will be sent a full refund. Consequently, LLorson
Resources Limited assumes no responsibility or liability for any transportation, travel, or penalty costs
incurred by customers in making their travel arrangements.
Neither LLorson Resources Limited nor any of its affiliates shall be liable for any direct, indirect, special,
consequential, incidental or punitive damages (including, without limitation, lost profits or revenues, costs of
replacement goods, business interruption and loss or damage arising out of registration for any of LLorson

PPAYMENT AND REGISTRATION SUBSTITUTION POLICY Substitute participants are permitted for individuals from the same company or organization. Substitution requests must be received in writing, and validated by a supervisor, no later than 5 (five) business days before the first day of the registered program. 10. CCANCELLATION POLICY Lorson Resources Limited reserves the right to cancel courses, programs, workshops or seminars at any time for any reason. The decision to cancel is at the sole discretion of LLorson Resources Limited. In the event LLorson Resources Limited cancels a program, trainees will be sent a full refund. Consequently, LLorson Resources Limited assumes no responsibility or liability for any transportation, travel, or penalty costs incurred by customers in making their travel arrangements. Neither LLorson Resources Limited nor any of its affiliates shall be liable for any direct, indirect, special, consequential, incidental or punitive damages (including, without limitation, lost profits or revenues, costs of replacement goods, business interruption and loss or damage arising out of registration for any of LLorson Resources Limited's courses, programs, workshops or seminars.
