Emphasize that course is not just for instruction but for making teaching easier. Also, not just for use on the iPad but for Mac and PC as well as access on the internet without needing to have computer. Talk about the future and where we are headed; foreshadow ePub and creating content.
Create account and download to your computer (and iDevice), browser plugins for web clipping, show syncing with notes, webcam, voice, etc. Reinforce titles and tags (like blogging and wikis) for easy searching and categorizing later. Create different notebooks to keep things organized. Add links, files, voice or photos/webcam to your notes. SUPER COOL! Display with your own account - this Keynote and creating it for instance. Curricula based study guides on Peek, share Evernote info with parents so they can see what websites the kids are studying, share with administrators or Board members for important info, etc.

Use it with students: Students who have Dropbox accounts can enjoy all the benefits listed above for teachers. However, they can also use it to submit assignments, and store their e-portfolios. Once they finish an assignment, they can share the file with you by sending you a link. The teacher can then read the file, highlight and leave comments on it, and save the annotations for the student to read later. Use the chick book to show incoming classes (or visitors or parents) about chicks, Board example, values lessons, save on paper, curricula based study guides? Free Books, RSS feeds, etc. End of Year pieces - send these to parents for them to share with friends and family on their digital devices, use as centers, endless possibilities. Use with Calibre – free software to convert to ePub format.
