I have experience working in several positions such as hotel reception, Restaurants, a Travel agency
and Administrative assistant and Call-center; fluently in Spanish and qualified with HNDip in tourism
(Diploma in Tourism).
My experience includes the following duties and skills:
• Dealing with bookings by phone, e-mail, letter, fax or walk-in.
• Handling check-in tasks including allocating rooms, issuing keys and showing guests to their
rooms.
• Handling check-out task including preparing bills and taking payments.
• Handling message for guests and dealing with special requests, such as booking theatre tickets, or
storing valuables items, at all times ensuring the customer´s comfort following the establishment´
standards.
• Administering all reservations, cancellations, no-shows, in line with the company policy.
• Keeping up to date with current promotions and hotel pricing, providing information to
guests, on request, while maximizing room sales opportunities.
• Advising customers about the establishments´ facilities and surroundings amenities.
• Dealing with complaints or problems till then are sorted out.
• The use of computerized hotel management software including FIDELIO, OPERA,
FINHOTEL & MILLENIUM, as well as central reservation´s web sites managing bookings and
rooms availability.
• Ability to arrange travel for business and holiday customers as well as groups and able to
offer bespoke solutions. Highly skilled in planning and arranging tour packages, excursions,
and day trips.
• Able to find out customers’ requirements and preferences and provide them with exact
solutions accordingly; such as VISAs, vaccinations, special requirements in some countries,
etc.
• In-depth knowledge of finding fares and schedule information, and calculating total travel
costs.

• Reporting to the line manager any inconvenience arisen in my shift and providing reports, as
required, to housekeepers and managers of bars and restaurants.
