What is Media Studies?
Every aspect of our lives is touched by media
whether it is your Friday night DVD, checking
who is tweeting what on your smartphone or
reading the day’s headlines in the paper.

Studying media involves changing the way
you look at the world by understanding how
different media work. But, you also get to
change how others look at the world by
making your own media products!
Action Adventure Film
What do will you do?
• One exam on two topics
 1. Action Adventure Films 2.Television Comedies

• Group Production Project

• Individual Production Project

 • Conducting research
 • Project planning
 • Leading a team
 • Working independently
 • Thinking critically
 • Relate texts to their social context
