As a building and design consultant with Perth homebuilder, Webb Brown & Neaves, Sharene Leatherbarrow, knows something good when she sees it.
Mrs Leatherbarrow, together with her husband, James, and two daughters are in the process of building a new home at The Reserve, The Vines.
Attracted to the peace and tranquillity of the Reserve and proximity to the Swan Valley, Mrs Leatherbarrow said the 540sqm homesite they purchased has allowed them to maximise their home space, but still have room for a pool – a high priority for their children.
“A homesite with space for a pool was also an absolute must for our two daughters.
“Plus, the Swan Valley is one of our favourite places to visit. In our down time we really enjoy spending time together at the nearby wineries and restaurants, so the location of our new homesite at The Reserve is perfect.”
As someone in the industry, Mrs Leatherbarrow advised that when looking for a block of land it was important to be sure that the location and block suits your lifestyle.
“We are really busy, so were looking for a block that we could enjoy that had minimal garden space and maintenance, however we love the fact that we have views across a golf course to enjoy.”
In her role with Webb, Brown & Neaves, Mrs Leatherbarrow advises her clients to ensure they not only assess their current needs when building a new home but also consider the future.
“We have chosen a Webb Brown & Neaves design called The Pearl. The design will adapt to our lifestyle as our requirements change later in life. This is something that is really important to consider and I always ensure my clients keep this in mind when choosing their new home,” she said.
The double-storey design has meant the Leatherbarrow family can still have a large pool space and alfresco area on their homesite, making the most of the golf course views.
“Maximising our living space, both inside and out was important to us. We have designed our home so that all members of the family have their own space but can also all come together in the various family zones. We will also really enjoy the pool and outdoor area in the warmer months, so the alfresco area was very important to us too,” Mrs Leatherbarrow said.
The Reserve currently has homesites for sale from $280,000 and sized from 480sqm to 796sqm. All homesites overlook the beautiful fairways of The Vines Golf Course and each homesite within The Reserve comes with side and rear fencing, a front landscaping rebate and a free membership of The Vines Resort and Country Club.
Even those who are not golfers can take advantage of the four full sized tennis courts, two indoor squash courts, a fully equipped gymnasium, the 25m outdoor swimming pool or the heated outdoor spa.
The Reserve is located on the doorstep of the Swan Valley, Perth’s premier food and wine destination, and minutes away from the thriving Ellenbrook town centre.
