• For people who are confused what
  Deepavali is it’s just another word for
  Diwali

• Deepavali is a 5 day celebration
Food Eaten

Tradition sweet are eaten such as
  laddoos,barfis and halwas
My favorite is the barfis

Day 1
Day 1 is focus on joy in the future.

It is said that if you laugh on day 1 of
   Deepavli you will have a brighter future
Day 2
Day 2 is about not being lazy

Also the divas, candles and fireworks are
  lit on Day 2, to abolish evil
Day 3
On day 3 the Godesses of Strength and
 Wealth are honored.

Also the Godess Kali is honored on this day
  but this is mostly done on Day 2.

Deepavali is an official holiday
  in India, Nepal, Sri
  Lanka, Myanmar, Mauritius, Guyana,
  Trinidad,Tobago, Surinam, Malaysia,
   Singapore and Fiji.
Day 4
Day 4 is about not being jealous

On Day 4 people try to take away anger
 from their lives

Also people go and pray in the temple

Historically, the origin of Deepavali can be traced
  back to ancient India, when it was probably an
  important harvest festival. However, there are
  various legends pointing to the origin of
  Deepavali. Some believe it to be the celebration
  of the marriage of Lakshmi with Lord Vishnu
Day 5
Is about seeing good in everybody.

It is also about love between brother and
   sisters
We make this day special by
We celebrate by going to church and
 watching fireworks .Then they give us
 dinner
