A Student Support Community presentation designed to introduce a variety of free browser-based graphics tools for information and visual appeal, as well as GIMP, a free downloadable too. The focus was on the rapid design of visually appealing content for use in assignments and to stimulate creativity.
The session was presented on February 8, 2014 by Dr. Cynthia Calongne. The tools include Text2MindMap, Wordle, Chartgo, Sumopaint and GIMP, which was used to create the fractal planets that were featured in the session.
