"In history, a great volume is unrolled for our
instruction, drawing the materials of future wisdom
from the past errors and infirmities of mankind."
Edmund Burke
History is all about self-discovery – what people has
done in the past and what we all can do, reject what is
not desired, learn and do that helps to evolve and
improve collective life and create something new from
the existing knowledge, information and practices.

He further clarified that right knowledge has
three elements to verify its assertion. They are
•direct contact- you are outside and know it is
raining
•inference –you hear from inside home that it is
raining
•Testimony -your friend tells you it is raining
outside

How we understand the history
What is relationship between knowledge and
Yoga
The text, Gherand Samhita says:
There is no greater ignorance (that causes suffering)
than illusion (world of duality and division that
conditions the mind leading to pain, stress and
suffering). There is no power greater than the power of
Yoga. There is no greater friend than the knowledge
(knowledge of Real-Self) and there is no greater enemy
than one’s ego.
