Social media management tools comparison
1. Social Media Management Tools Comparison
Social media Management includes web- and mobile-based technologies
which are used to turn communication into interactive dialogue among
organizations, communities, and individuals. There are many web tools and
applications out there that related with social media management, but not all
are created equal. As you know, a good social media management tool will be
very helpful for your business. That is to say, it is one important step for you
begin to run your business, especial for start your social media marketing
journey. In this article I will discuss three tools I’ve tried for connecting to all
social networks account and we’ll take a quick look at the different features
they offer too.
1. Worphy
Worphy is a free social media management platform for businesses and
organizations to efficiently manage accounts across multiple social networks
from one secure, web-based platform. Main features are message scheduling,
team collaboration, multiple social networks support (Facebook, Twitter,
Weibo, QQ and Renren), analytics, knowledge management, customer service,
text to picture, content library and dashboard etc.
With the free version, you can add multiple social network accounts and
immediately start your social media marketing journey. The Teams & groups
2. management feature allows you link your team members with specified social
accounts. This will make your social network accounts more secured through
this team collaboration feature.
Another thing to notice with Worphy is its Facebook/Twitter scheduler. When
you are about to post, you should find the following features are very handy.
The picture library get you with millions online pictures. The “text to picture”
allows gets around 140 characters limitation in Twitter. The picture merging
feature helps re-organize your attached photos. Moreover, you can schedule
wherever you are and it is with time zone support.
3. One thing I would be disappointing with Worphy is Google+ is currently
unsupported. I hope that Worphy guys can consider adding it soon.
2. Sendible
Sendible is an online marketing service for businesses and marketers to
promote, grow and track their brands through the use of Social Media, Email
and SMS messaging. Sendible is the easiest way to grow and build your brand
online and is a one-stop-shop for all your marketing needs.
As you know, Sendible is a very easy platform for you to manage all you
social networks, such as sending messages to all networks, scheduling your
messages. However, the drawback of Sendible is that it only provides 100
pieces of messages for free. You have to pay more to continue to use it. It is
much expensive. Maybe I would consider it when it is cheaper next time.
4. 3. Hootsuite
Hootsuite is one of the most popular services and has been mentioned all over
the web. It is packed full of features, including the ability to schedule tweets,
of course. The interface is beautiful, customizable, and I’m impressed with
how Hootsuite acts like a desktop client with the way it uses Ajax and other
web technologies to keep things updated and dynamic.
Even though it’s overkill for scheduling tweets (if that’s all you want to do),
it’s still simple enough to use for just that purpose. It has other time-saving
features, such as automatic updates of your blog feeds into Twitter and
threaded conversations to help you stay organized when following a lot of
other tweeters.
5. To summarize, as a guy who post as much like I do, I would recommend
Worphy as for its powerful scheduler. Besides, it is free. Still, if you need to
manage your social accounts more than just Facebook and Twitter, HootSuite
might be a better choice.
