3. STOMACH
Fundus: part of stomach above the level of the
esophagus
Cardia: opening which provides a pathway for food
to pass down into the stomach.
Pylorus: prevents regurgitation of food from the
small intestines back into the stomach.
5. LIVER
Liver: filter the blood coming from the digestive
tract, before passing it to the rest of the body.
Two Parts: right and left lobe
Gallbladder: squeezes stored bile into the small
intestine through a series of tubes called ducts.
Bile Duct: formed by the union of the common
hepatic and the cystic ducts.
