Go to the MyBackpack website. You can go to this URL:
https://backpack.madeira.org/SeniorApps/
or if you are on a campus computer look for the shortcut on the desktop. You can also access
the link from the Community Login page on the Madeira Website.
Once you are logged in, click on Class Attendance under the MyClasses column. Ensure
that you have the correct class.
You will make any individual changes in the Type column. Once all your types are
complete you must click the Apply button. Either button will work.
You MUST click Apply even if everyone is present!!

enrolled courses in which the teacher/student
participates. Notice that you are enrolled in the VAIS
Self-Study. Notice the courses you are teaching.
There is a Calendar feature for scheduling tests,
assignments, etc.
There is a Task feature for helping students pace
themselves in assignments, etc.

last name to jump to the appropriate student.
◦ You can click on the A-Z tab and find the students
alphabetically. (preferred)
◦ You can scroll through all the names by clicking SEARCH.
Click the ADD box to add a student to the class. Then
click SUBMIT at the bottom of the screen.
Repeat this for all students in the course.
Return to the Control Panel to repeat this for each
course you are teaching.
