My own piano arrangement in the key of C-Major of a grand old hymn written in Civil War times (July, 1864) by the Reverend Robert Lowry, a Baptist Minister of New York City---set here to a home movie clip from the 1950's that I found on the Internet. This clip could well have been from any town, anywhere in America---and now features an American Hymn from an American Minister who wanted to be remembered as a preacher--- and not as a composer of Christian hymns. But history remembers the Reverend Robert Lowry for the music he left behind for Christians everywhere. His most noted work is this very piece:--- "Shall We Gather At The River?" I arranged this great hymn and purposely so in the key of C-Major so that it would have no sharps or flats for the beginning piano player that I am and countless others are too. Additional music herein features 'The American Boys Choir' in their rendition of this same hymn. Enjoy. ...Bruce**********
