GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Assist the IT Director as needed in providing service to employees and systems management.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Works under the supervision of the IT Director.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Server/ Network: -
Manage the network and server infrastructure and evaluates performance to determine improvements to meet future growth
and utilize advanced technologies for operational efficiency and to maximize availability of network resources.
Under the supervision of the Director of Technology, create, deploy, and maintain a plan for server hardware and
software lifecycles.
Maintain documentation on all server and network hardware and software. Communicate any deficiencies or areas of
improvement to the Director of Technology.
Identify and allocate appropriate server resources to meet educational tec hnology needs.
Proactively monitor, maintain, and preserve the security and confidentiality of information flowing through and into the
network and servers.
Manages the development and maintenance of the local and wide area networks for the purpose of ensuring the efficient
use of technology.
Oversee Wireless access security; Web filtering, and internal/external network security.
Maintain backups of all essential data on servers and in network storage.
Develop a detailed disaster recovery plans for all servers and network components to ensure continuity of data in the
