gender and age.
Region:
56% live in the three main cities of Auckland (33%),
Christchurch (14%) and Wellington (10%).
25% live in other main urban areas, 19% North Island and 6%
South Island.
19% live in towns and rural areas, 14% North Island and 5%
South Island.
In total, 76% live in the North Island and 24% live in the South
Island.
Gender
51% are female and 49% are male.
