CHURCH
The congregation of all baptized persons united in the
same true faith, sacrifice, sacraments, under the
authority of the Sovereign Pontiff, and the bishops in
communion with Him.

1. To spread the Kingdom of Christ over all
the earth for the glory of God the Father
2. To make all men partakers in redemption
and salvation so that they lay the entire
world at the feet of Christ

(a) The mission to teach
“Go, therefore, and make disciples of all
nations…teaching them to observe all
that I have commanded you”
(Mt. 28:19-20)

14. The Marks of the Church
The Catholic Church is “One”, for all her
members profess the same faith, have same
sacrament, have the same sacrifice and obey
the same visible head, the Pope.

The Catholic Church is “Holy” for Jesus Christ
who is all-holy founded Her and gave the means
to make men good and holy, thereby giving
saints to every age.

The Catholic Church is Catholic or Universal; for
she is for all men of all times and nations, and is
extending over the whole world.
17. The Marks of the Church
The Catholic Church is Apostolic for she was
founded by Christ on Peter and the Apostles.
She still ruled by their lawful; successor, the
Pope and the Bishops, and still believes and
teaches the doctrine of the Apostles.
