4. WHAT IS A FILM TREATMENT?
A film treatment is a piece of writing that
sets out the events of a film, it is a bit like
a synopsis. It is written in the present
tense and is produced before the script or
screenplay and thus includes no dialogue.
• Treatments are written in Courier New 12pt
• New characters are capitalised
• Each scenes is represented in a single paragraph

6. YOUR TASK
You must produce a film treatment for your
trailer by 25th January . Your treatment
must also have elements of the time line
merged into it , so it must include the
timings of each scene/ shot on the left-hand
side.
