How did you attract/address
your audience?
Evaluation question 5
My media product, an opening made to a thriller film named “Captured Soul”
aims for a certain target audience. I though that appealing to teenage age
groups would be the best option for attracting audience, as the film is a mix of
horror and fantasy genres as well, making it a hybrid genre film.
As teenagers are the most likely to go and see my film, it was really important
to get feedback from them.
The feedback I got, which I have recorded and uploaded toYouTube as “Vox-
pops” gave me a clean view of where I stand in terms of quality performance
and ideas at the time. It aided the better knowledge and understanding of the
strengths and weaknesses of my synopsis and became a guide on how I should
proceed with my work.The feedback also helped me to understand how
should I attract my audience and maintain their interest of viewers.
