professional experience
I am a designer who explores the boundaries of
strategy, design and experience. I continue to seek new
permutations of thought through challenging orthodoxies, looking
to cultural analogies and exploring “the adjacent possible.” In 14
years of professional experience in international contexts and on
interdisciplinary teams, I have practiced and promoted design
in a variety of project types including retail & brand, healthcare,
workplace, higher education, and scientific research for clients such
as Reebok, Memorial Sloan-Kettering, Pokemon USA, ING Direct,
and Publicis Asia. Additionally, personal endeavors have given me
expertise in artistic installations, outdoor adventure sports, travel &
tourism, fitness & health, and Asian cultures.
Drawing on my breadth of experience, capabilities to lead and rigor in
research and design innovation methodologies, I can solve a range of
problems in inventive ways. With an eye towards strategic planning
and service design, I am always the advocate of the end user and
champion of compelling cases for change. I enjoy collaborations,
working as a team to add layers of depth through iteration,
crafting stories which excite and generating forward momentum. A
cheerleader and shepherd, I am well-versed in the complete life cycle
of projects and actively bring ideas from the fragile stages of a spark
through the reality of fruition.
