With production forecasted to meet 3.7 million b/d in 2020 and 5.2 million b/d by 2030,
SAGD presents the greatest opportunity for growth in oil sands production, and with
leading E&Ps reporting capital cost projections per SAGD thermal project reaching $440
million, it is now more important than ever to reduce costs whilst maximizing recovery.
At no stage in SAGD is this more important than drilling, and a sound program is critical
to making sure wells are drilled quickly, cheaply and with maximized production results,
through optimized well placement and integrity.
It is only through integration of best practices and latest technologies for cementing,
casing, ranging, directional drilling and more that operators can reduce costs whilst
maximizing ROP as well as ensuring future production and completions are
optimized at the drilling stage.
The inaugural SAGD Drilling Optimization 2015 Well Placement & Integrity
Congress will be the first dedicated congress for drilling professionals, gathering up-to-
the-minute case studies from leading E&Ps in SAGD operations to maximize ROP
whilst reducing time and cost.
Consisting entirely of operator-led case studies using production data and well
failure analysis, each presentation will focus specifically on SAGD operation results
and the resulting implications for drilling efficiency maximization.

DECISION MAKING AUDIENCE
E&P attendees are primarily decision makers looking to learn from other operators. Every conversation is valuable and there is no searching through endless crowds in search of the next customer
EXCLUSIVE NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES
We work with dozens of operators across the US to identify the agenda topics and vendor categories they need to hear from. We allocate stalls and speaking time only when suppliers can offer solutions the audience is looking for, so you know your next customer is in the room
SHARE YOUR SUCCESS
As an operator-led congress, speakers will be delivering unbiased reviews of equipment currently installed across their well sites – good or bad. If the feedback is good, solution providers need to be in the room to capitalize upon the moment and make the next sell. If the feedback is poor, suppliers must be ready to update the audience on their latest work to improve the reliability of
their devices and reassert confidence in their solutions
If you have a successful case study to share with operators, get in touch to apply for information on speaking opportunities and stall allocations:

  • 2. www.sagd-drilling-2015.com (1) 800 721 3915 info@canadian-business-conferences.com With production forecasted to meet 3.7 million b/d in 2020 and 5.2 million b/d by 2030, SAGD presents the greatest opportunity for growth in oil sands production, and with leading E&Ps reporting capital cost projections per SAGD thermal project reaching $440 million, it is now more important than ever to reduce costs whilst maximizing recovery. At no stage in SAGD is this more important than drilling, and a sound program is critical to making sure wells are drilled quickly, cheaply and with maximized production results, through optimized well placement and integrity. It is only through integration of best practices and latest technologies for cementing, casing, ranging, directional drilling and more that operators can reduce costs whilst maximizing ROP as well as ensuring future production and completions are optimized at the drilling stage. The inaugural SAGD Drilling Optimization 2015 Well Placement & Integrity Congress will be the first dedicated congress for drilling professionals, gathering up-to- the-minute case studies from leading E&Ps in SAGD operations to maximize ROP whilst reducing time and cost. Consisting entirely of operator-led case studies using production data and well failure analysis, each presentation will focus specifically on SAGD operation results and the resulting implications for drilling efficiency maximization. Register By Friday December 12, 2014 TOP 5 REASONS TO ATTEND 1. Join an exclusively operator-led speaker faculty sharing over 20 new case studies and well failure analysis to provide insights into the latest technologies and necessary steps to maximize well integrity and optimize SAGD production and drilling operations. 2. The only commercially focused SAGD drilling congress, providing in depth analysis into the necessary techniques and best practices for improving operator ROI 3. Using production data to determine the optimum wellbore and downhole placement to identify the most cost-effective ranging and survey technologies for maximum recovery. 4. Evaluating high pressure, high temperature, well conditions and their effects to reveal the impact of the critical factors in equipment selection. 5. Determining the best cement blend and the best cement placement for optimal casing design to maintain cap rock integrity as well as the best liquid and sand systems for faster, cleaner and stronger drilling operations. Clarion Hotel And Conference Centre Rocky Mountain Ballroom 2120 16 Ave NE, Calgary, AB, CA, T2E 1L4 Phone: (403) 291-4666 Fax: (403) 291-6498 Web: http://goo.gl/3V4x0M Venue Information: Day 1 will start by evaluating ranging tools and directional drilling best practices to optimize downhole well spacing, infill drilling and hot re-entry to optimize recovery from virgin and pre-heated reservoirs. It will then determine the most cost-effective fluid and sand systems for faster, cleaner and more sustainable drilling operations. Day 2 will then provide operations insights into utilizing well failure analysis to inform cost-effective liquid and sand system selection. It will also establish cementing and casing best practices to cost-effectively maximize ROP whilst ensuring well integrity, stability and safety. *SAVE $400

  • 5. DECISION MAKING AUDIENCE E&P attendees are primarily decision makers looking to learn from other operators. Every conversation is valuable and there is no searching through endless crowds in search of the next customer EXCLUSIVE NETWORKING OPPORTUNITIES We work with dozens of operators across the US to identify the agenda topics and vendor categories they need to hear from. We allocate stalls and speaking time only when suppliers can offer solutions the audience is looking for, so you know your next customer is in the room SHARE YOUR SUCCESS As an operator-led congress, speakers will be delivering unbiased reviews of equipment currently installed across their well sites – good or bad. If the feedback is good, solution providers need to be in the room to capitalize upon the moment and make the next sell. If the feedback is poor, suppliers must be ready to update the audience on their latest work to improve the reliability of their devices and reassert confidence in their solutions If you have a successful case study to share with operators, get in touch to apply for information on speaking opportunities and stall allocations: John Duggan (1) 800 721 3915 sponsorship@canadian-business-conferences.com Sponsorship Opportunities The inaugural SAGD Drilling Optimization 2015 Well Placement & Integrity Congress will be the first to gather up-to-the-minute case studies from the leading E&Ps in SAGD operations to maximize ROP and reduce the time and cost.
