• Wireless Sensor Networks are also
called „Smart Dust“
• „[N]etworks of interconnected
computing devices deeply
embedded into the physical
environment (...) providing detailed
instrumentation of many points
over large spaces, both natural and
artificial.“
• The nodes of a sensor network are
called Motes.
