Beyond technical knowledge, today’s executive be able to use finance to persuade corporate
financial officers to fund projects, and use financial tools to address senior management’s concerns
about risk. Applying basic principles of finance and accounting to day-to-day and longer-term
management activities will transform a technical manager’s ability to achieve goals.

3. Prof. Grace S. Ugut, Ph.D is the Associate Dean of the AIM Executive Education
and Lifelong Learning Center. Her fields of expertise include the following areas
in banking and finance: treasury management, risk management, corporate
finance, and fixed income securities. She holds a doctorate degree in
International Finance from Vienna University in Austria.
