Remedies
 Chapter 3-15 talks about the different effects of the
Flattening World and it’s consequences for America

 Thomas Friedman believes that to fight the quiet crisis
  of a flattening world:

 the United States work force should keep updating its
  work skills.
 Making the work force more adaptablewill keep it
    more employable.
Remedies
 He also suggests that the government make it easier to
switch jobs by making retirement benefits and health
insurance less dependent on one's employer and by
providing insurance that would partly cover a possible
drop in income when changing jobs.

 more inspiration for youth to be scientists, engineers,
and mathematicians due to a decrease in the
percentage of these professionals being American.
Sequel Books
 Hot, Flat, and Crowded: Why We Need a Green Revolution—And How It
   Can Renew America (2008)

 That Used To Be Us: How America Fell Behind in the World It Invented
and How We Can Come Back (Co-written with Michael Mandelbaum
   2011)
Application in the Philippines
 This is the time to rise for the Filipino Nation, to catch up with other
   countries.

 We should stop outsourcing products from China, and instead find ways
to manufacture and source our products in the Philippines.

 What I see that Lacks in Filipino Products is the Marketing and mindset to
be as good as American and European Brands in terms of quality and
   packaging.
