  1. This presentation on the Human Body Systems will be saved as a resource for the students at NBS. This is for the Fifth Grade. No action needs to be taken. Click on the link for the introduction audio file
  2. This are the Illinois Standards for this unit of study. The only action that needs to be taken is to click on the home icon to return to the 1 st slide.
  3. Students will learn about the structure and function of the brain. Students will also research diseases and research for this system. Click on the image of the brain to read information about this system.
  4. Students will discuss the circulatory system and do research on its structure and function. Students can have a brief discussion on taking care of this system including disease prevention and current scientific research. Click on the image of the heart to read information about this system. Click on the home icon to return to the 1 st slide. Click on the Title to view a video. Listen to the audio file automatically play.
  5. Students will view and discuss the Discovery Education video that is linked to this image. Click on the image to view a movie. Click on the home icon if you want to return to the 1 st slide.
  6. Students will view the movie and then discuss. Students will research the structure and function of the Muscular System as part of the Human Body System Unit. Click on the home icon to return to the 1 st slide.
  7. Click on the kidneys to hear what they do. Click on the home icon to return to the home page.
  8. This should get their attention. Students love to study the Skeletal System. We will also be building a model of the Human Skeletal System from a kit.
