Project Title / Name : UNO – Thailand Core Banking Implementation
Project Description
The legacy systems ICBS and Hogan are to be replaced by eBBS (Core banking system). Over the
last one decade Standard Chartered Bank (SCB) has been rolling out a new core banking
system, Electronic Branch Banking System or eBBS as it is known within the bank, to replace
the existing core banking systems such as Hogan, Bank Master, and ICBS.
Standard Chartered Bank Thailand branch (SCBT) is the latest entity to be on-boarded to eBBS
with a go live date scheduled for 2016.
Roles & Responsibilities
Role : Test Lead
Understand the testing effort by analysing the requirements of project along with
test manager.
Estimate and obtain management support for the time, resources
Organize the testing kick-off meeting
Supporting Test manager in defining the Test Strategy
Build a testing team of professionals with appropriate skills, attitudes and
motivation.
Develop the test plan for the tasks, dependencies and participants required to
mitigate the risks to system quality and obtain stakeholder support for this plan.
Assign task to all Testing Team members and ensure that all of them have sufficient
work in the project.
Ensure content and structure of all Testing documents / artefacts is documented

Document, implement, monitor, and enforce all processes for testing as per

Project Description
CEMS based on Oracle CRM on Demand system is implemented in SCB to enable the
implementation of Single Customer View and Single Account View for the frontline employees in
branch and call centers to drive supporting CB’s customer centric strategy. The objective of this
project is to extend its coverage to China, India & MEPA consumer banking for Consolidated
Customer View, Account Details of all products and standard CRM capabilities.

Project Description
Release Testing is one of the Core Banking initiatives to streamline and maintain only one
version for e12 in eBBS. In order to achieve this, release based delivery is planned. This would
also imply that the common components and the security components would be single source
for a particular release. All e12 countries would be covered in the release management
approach. The countries and the e12.x version is decided/approved by the core banking
management team. Release (Version) Testing would be capability specific. In other words, for any
release, the release contents would be discussed and agreed in a workshop by all streams. The
scope of each item would include any gap for the countries that are under consideration in that
release, product improvement, system stability, architectural, test support and design changes.

Project Description
Reinforcing the Customer Focus strategy and Customer Charter via delivering better value
and added convenience through bundled solutions – enables move to best pricing for bundles.
Consumer Banking has identified offering of Real bundles which is mainly introduction of
Complimentary Line of Credit (COD) and Payroll Overdraft (POD). Settlement programs are
offered to customers who are experiencing serious financial difficulties wherein their ability to
sustain regular monthly repayment to the Bank is challenged. Such programs normally come
with waiver of partial or full interests owed and sometimes with discount on the principal
amount

Project Description
EBBS-IBanking interface will be modified to enhance the online functionalities and to migrate
to NFS platform. NFS stands for Next Generation Financial System. This migration is the first
step in ensuring a single code base for Online Banking. As part of NFS, eBBS-IBanking will
have 24/7 back end database to assist customers when eBBS goes offline and will have store
and forward options to get requests from eBBS and send for processing when eBBS is up in
Wholesale Banking, Consumer Banking as well as Core Banking teams.
