  • 5. Key Objectives Increase the number of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander teachers in Australian Schools. Develop strategies that will enhance the professional and leadership capabilities of experienced Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Teachers.

Key Outcomes  Qualitative and quantitative research of facts and strategies and their effectiveness.  Partnership and co-investment agreements with school authorities, universities and professional associations to achieve sustainable reform.  National community engagement and marketing strategies promoting teaching as a career option for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
