September 2005 – present Mechanical Design Leader at Sony Ericsson
The work as a Mechanical Design Leader of mobile phones includes leading and taking part of the
concept work of each phone, lead a team of mechanical engineers during the development project and
being technically responsible that the time plans are kept and the right quality is achieved.
The work also includes ID related discussions with the ID designer, co-operation with people from
Hardware (Antenna, Baseband, Radio, Acoustics and Optics), Sourcing, IP and Product planning as well
as own responsibility for certain hardware parts.
As a Design Leader I have extensive knowledge in thin plastic design, Antenna, PBA design, Sheet Metal
insert moulding, EMC/ESD, Keypad, Acoustics, Camera, LCD and FPC design.
The work has been carried out primarily in Kista but has also included supplier and factory visits in
China. I also have a lot of high volume production experience from Sony Ericsson phone assembly
factory in Beijing.
I have been Design Leader or Concept Leader in a total of four phones which was launched (P1i, W960,
G700 and G900) and several phone projects that were cancelled before launch.

I worked as mechanical designer of mobile phones with responsibility for various parts in phone projects
of which four are launched mobile phones. The work includes full component responsibility from design,
discussions with suppliers, manufacturing, prototype builds, testing, approval and product support during
