3. THE NARRATIVE
The main character Alex works for MI6, one day she is
called to meet her boss Agent N, he tells her, her sisters
gone missing, all they know is that there was a body
found at the scene. As Alex reads her newspaper she
see’s a strange note on the page she is reading, she
notices someone else reading the same news paper
and asks to the same page. She then notices that she is
being watched. Alex is basically lead to believe that the
Ukrainian’s have kidnapped Alex’s sister, but the
Ukrainians are trying to hunt down Alex as well because
she knows about their plot and they want her dead
before she can spread the word. So Alex has to follow
these notes that she keeps finding and they will help her
find her sister only if she does what they want. The
audience don’t know who is actually behind the notes
and whether they are a friend helping Alex or actually a
false friend.
4. UNIQUE SELLING POINT
We generated idea’s from the British TV crime drama series
‘Hunted’ and ‘Spooks’, but there are elements of the Al Pacino
film ‘88 minutes’.
The locations we have used are part of everyday life which
makes it seems more believable for the audience. For
example we are going to film in places such as Cabot Circus,
which is iconographic for students of Wellsway School and
people in the Bristol/Bath area.
Evidence from our survey shows that our target audience will
be a majority of males, aged 15-20 and they have a media
intake of 2-4 days, this shows that we need to make a film that
is going to be interesting for the audience, to be able to watch
it again and again.
We are going to use a range of camera shots/angels to show
the conventions of action/thriller. For example we are going to
use a lot of extreme close ups to show the emotion of the
characters but also it will let the audience see the action close
up, so they feel that they are apart of the scene.
