Agreed content:
• Introduction: The presenter will introduce the documentary, explaining what the
documentary is talking about and giving the audience a rough outline of what will be
covered during the documentary.
• Interviews: Interviews will be conducted throughout the documentary, to get a
better insight of what GF sufferers feel about being Gluten free. Interviews will also
be including a professional who can give the audience an insight on what Gluten is
and how it affects people. The presenter (Matt) will also be interviewed throughout
the documentary as he describes his negatives and positives of being on a Gluten
free diet.
• Archive footage: Archive footage will be included during the documentary to give
the audience visual aid to topics the presenter covers during the documentary.
3. • Inside topics: the documentary will discuss what Gluten is, who is affected by
Gluten, What the effects are for people who eat Gluten, The Gluten free product
market and experts’ advice on how to counter Gluten.
• Conclusion: The documentary will end with a brief summary and then leave the
audience with a question. This will make the audience think about what they have
just watched and give them the choice to make their own opinions about being
Gluten free.
Regular Team Meetings:
Throughout the filming and editing phase of the documentary there will be regular group meetings
where all the cast and crew must attend. In these meetings we can run over parts of the
documentary process and also discuss any issues/ problems we come across. Group members may
want to offer an idea or advice as well which is always welcome.
I have set three team meeting dates, which are listed below.
13th
June 2013: This meeting date is the day before the crew and cast starts filming the
documentary. This presents a good opportunity for the team to ask the producer/ director questions
or for advice about anything they unsure about for the filming process.
15th
June 2013: This meeting date is set half way through the filming process. This gives me the
chance to find out how everyone is doing with their roles. It also gives the opportunity to crew and
cast members to ask me questions or discus with me issues they may have had during the first half
of filming the documentary.
18th
June 2013: This meeting date is set just before the editing for the documentary begins. It gives
team members the opportunity to come forward with questions or problems they have with the
documentary.
