Sugar is an empty calorie.
It robs the body of the nutrients required
for the body to process it.
Sugar sends your blood sugar sky high
where it does damage to your arteries.
Sugar is also exceedingly easy to over
consume. For example in a can of coke
there is 10 packets of sugar.
4. Artificial Sweeteners in Diet
Coke
There are 4 ½ packets of aspartame in diet coke.
These sweeteners are made in a lab from who knows
what chemicals.
Further, we have no idea what these chemicals will do
to the body with sustained long term use.
There is little evidence that these sugar substitutes
actually help people loose weight.
There is evidence that they may contribute to weight
gain.
5. How to Deal with Sugar
Cravings
Eat plenty of fat, protein, and nutrient-dens
foods on a regular basis kills your appetite.
Eat some fruits the sweetness will help curb
your sweet cravings.
Find a good dark chocolate it has just enough
sweetness for you to be satisfying without
being unhealthy.
Go for a walk just getting away from the
temptation Is usually helpful.

or Diet?
The obvious answer is Drink tea, Drink water
But if you must drink a soft drink ask yourself: “
a soft drink loaded with sugars (high fructose
corn syrup) OR the chemicals in a diet coke.
Had artificial sweeteners been found 100%
safe, without any side effects, the obvious
choice would be diet coke, which save 100
calories per cup.
Long term health effects are unclear.

She is a mother of 2 a girl who is 21 and boy is
19. She's bin married for 27 years.
She’s bin drinking soda since she was a little
girl it was always accessible unlike in other
homes where soda was brought out on
special occasions.

Her brand of choice is Pepsi .
She claims she drinks 64 oz a day which is
almost 2 litters.
She has severe cravings for soda. Maria
would shake if she doesn't have her soda on
a daily basis.
When she drinks soda she finds a soothing
and it calms her down.

Maria sais she has no cavity's, no sugar, and
no cholesterol issues.
Maria said “when she drinks soda she feels
very bloated”.
Although Maria is over weight and if she was
to stop drinking soda he would loose 20
pounds.
Since Maria is addicted to od she finds it very
difficult to quit.

Health Science Center San Antonio
compared the waistlines of diet soda drinkers
against a group of non-diet drinkers, the diet
soda drinkers, the drinkers had 70 percent
greater increases in belly bulge over the
course of the 9.5 year study.
The key ingredient Carmel color, aspartame,
phosphoric acid, natural flavors.

A study shows that the caramel coloring
in Diet Coke lead to an increase in lung
cancer in male and female mice.
Aspartame- Studies show more of an
increase in cancer risk.
Phosphoric Acid- The acid in this
ingredient is what erodes tooth enamel.
Natural Flavors- 100 of chemicals can be
used to mimic the taste of natural flavors.
