MD 2   Patient Search  screen. Find patients using any of the search screen options.  Simply select the type of search you want to do you’ll be prompted for the appropriate search fields. Patients may be searched using any of their  names…
MD 2   Appointment Search  screen – patient information. When the patient is selected their critical demographics are displayed Current insurance coverages with required co-pays display. Their appointment history with both future and past appointments display along with the appointment status. Current insurance coverages with required co-pays display. MD 2   Appointment Search  – search parameters. For instance, if you leave the resource blank it will look for availability for any resource, if you enter a specific resource, resource group or specialty it will offer appointments for just those providers. If you enter an appointment type it will look at just those times designated for that type of visit. All of the search parameters are optional and simply used to narrow the search. There are a number of short-cut moves to facilitate fast accurate bookings.  For instance if you’re scheduling a return visit for 4 weeks from today you just enter “4w” in the date field or instantly display a calendar and click on the date.
Scheduling is a simple as clicking on the desired tab. Search  for the patient and display important data. Full Day  shows the entire day with open, booked and closed times. Yes, you may book into closed time with security. Arrival is where clients may be checked in and the provider is automatically notified. The  Open Calendar  displays open times by date, time, resource, site and interval type. Times may be searched and booked for specific or multiple sites.
MD 2   Open Calendar  – cut to the chase for open times. If an appointment type is specified in the search only those intervals will display.  For instance you could search just for the next open time for a new patient and only “new” openings would display. Pick a time and click  Book
MD 2   Open Calendar  – cut to the chase for open times. If you are looking for open times for multiple providers to coordinate appointments. . .  . . . Their times will be interleaved in time order.
MD 2   Booking Screen  – the data you need. Every appointment is assigned a unique tracking number to insure the related charges are entered. Freeform notes may be entered and printed on the schedule. A “ Lineup ” may be used to automatically book another ancillary appointment prior to this appointment. Since all a patient’s balances are handled on one account you may specify which episode of care the appointment is for.
MD 2   Arrival Screen  – easy check in of patients. When a patient arrives the receptionist may select the appointment, click the  Post Up  button the complete the check in and automatically notify the nurses station of the patient’s arrival. When a patient arrives the receptionist may simply click the  Post Up  button the complete the check in and automatically notify the nurses’ station of the patient’s arrival. At the end of the day the only patients listed will be those that did not show up. The appointment will be flagged as a No Show and displayed in their appointment history.
MD 2   Post-Up  – automatic notification of patients’ arrivals at the nurses’ station. The Post Up screen displays in the nurses’ stations and automatically lets them know which patients are here and ready to be seen. Shows the patient’s check-in time and scheduled appointment time. The “Wait” is the minutes they since the patients have been waiting past their appointment time or, if they arrived late, the minutes since they checked in. The bottom of the screen displays patients that are checked in but still in lab, X-ray or being registered  and  patients that are late for their appointments and have not checked in.
MD 2   A ppointment  R eports Schedules for today’s appointments. Many custom formats.  We’ll do yours. Fee tickets or encounter forms for marking charges. Chart Pull List for accessing charts. Outguides to track pulled charts. Status report to list and follow-up on no-shows and cancellations. Missing Fee Ticket Report to track down charges for kept appointments. Appointment Collection Report to list upcoming appointments with account credit problems.
MD 2   Patient Accounts – appointment history. All of the patient’s past and future appointments may be displayed. All charge and payment transactions may be displayed by appointment.
Scheduling the way you need it. These screens illustrate just some of the more commonly used features when scheduling appointments.  To show all of the options and functionality here would make this presentation fairly lengthy and overwhelming. To cut to the chase, when we install the system we ask how you want scheduling to work and then address those relevant options and procedures. We encourage our users to always be asking for more.  You will find that our scheduling system will stay right with you as you make your scheduling encounters more efficient and pleasant for your patients.
