Liase with the Safer neighbourhood teams and influence the police priorities for Thamesmead Act as a link for residents and any safety/security issues Introduce and develop a successful neighbourhood watch scheme and Environment Champions (through Cleansweep)

Strategic Aim Outcomes and Plans Raise awareness of what’s on in Thamesmead through links with Trust Thamesmead community forum To welcome every new neighbour to the close and work to develop a programme of social events Develop a youth voice and plan activities to engage with young people from the close To promote neighbourhood spirit and welcome new people to our community Provide a safe environment for all residents to enjoy, grow and achieve To inform residents of the events in Thamesmead Identify ideas to bring the community together Build relationships with Trust Thamesmead and Thamesmead Youth Voice (TYV)

Strategic Aim Outcomes and Plans Provide a collective voice in relation to issues affecting drains, health & safety and environmental issues Identify special projects and activities and work on behalf of residents to achieve a shared goal (no more than 3 projects at a time) Act as a link for residents and maintenance issues that involve the council To provide a focus point and vehicle for collective action To safeguard and promote the interests of residents on housing and environmental issues Engage and work with all landlords who own property on the close to ensure that the upkeep of properties are maintained To work with the council and resolve the issues that have been left by Calmont including the road and drains Develop a website and agree the best way to communicate to residents Plan fundraising activities
