3. Homework Guidelines
• Assigned Monday-Thursday nights
• Between 30 minutes and 1 hour per night
(including reading)
• Math
• Spelling
• Unfinished class work
• Independent Reading
*Minimum of 15 minutes per night, 5 nights
per week.
*Students must take 2 AR tests each month:
1 fiction book, 1 nonfiction book

• Create a study space at home without a TV and other
distractions.
• Consistent daily homework time.
• Use the agenda to check on homework assignments.
