Details of Location:
Drama Studio. I will use this location for the
performance side of my music video.

Advantages of location:
I plan to filmstraight after school hours which will make things easier for my actor as he will
be able to come to the shoot straight after lessons and will not need to travel anywhere.
Furthermore, as it is at school staff will be around to help if I have any problems and the
lighting and camera equipment will already be available to use.
Location Considerations:
As I will be filming in school, I will need to make sure the Drama Studio is free in advance to
avoid the possibility of double booking as students may have lessons in this room during this
time. I am also need to keep in mind the idea of time as the school closes at a certain time
which restricts the total amount of time I can spend filming.

Grandparent’s house. I will primarily use this
location for the narrative sequences of my
music video.

Advantages of location:
As I will be filming in my grandparents’ house this will mean it will be easy for my actors
Victor and Sam to meet as they are already aware of the location. It will also be easy for me
to take the equipment as I can just store all the necessary equipment in a car and drive to
the location. In comparison to my other location – Haydon School, I will not be restricted by
how much time I can spend filming, as this location does not have a specific closing time.
Location Considerations:
For some of my footage, I intend to filmscenes in the garden which may possibly be
restricted by the weather conditions on the day. To make sure I don’t have any problems, I
will check the weather forecast early in advance of my shoot. Furthermore, I will also make
sure my grandparents are available on the day and give me permission to use their house
and garden as my filming locations.
