The media department at a college is planning a trip to Berlin for students, which would cost £328 per student plus an additional £200-£300 for meals and spending money, bringing the total cost to £528-£628. Only 22 students signed up for the trip even though the staff expected more than 30, because most students rely on part-time jobs or parents and found the total cost to be too expensive.
1. Cost of Berlin Trip...too expensive for students?
I am reporting about the media department going on a trip to Berlin. It is very exciting
because the students will get to sightsee in Berlin. It costs £328 each which includes most
things except spending money and meals, therefore students would need about £200 –
£300 extra. I think this is quite high as most students have to rely on their parents or only
their part time Job. “…” The media staff expectedat least 30 or more students to be able to
go however there are only 22 going and this is because it seems too expensive in total.
